Burke is an advocate of "the mixed methods perspective" and a philosophy he calls dialectical pluralism. He believes that this perspective and philosophy can help an individual to “mentally dialogue" with multiple perspectives and disciplines, and can help individuals from divergent paradigms work together effectively in research and practice teams.
